Dane Jasper had just built the SRJC campus network & was starting Sonic.net, the homegrown Internet service provider, which is still a highly successful small business centered in Santa Rosa, CA. From those classes I gained an appreciation for Apple Computers & landed an apprenticeship with Netdreams, an Internet Services provider for small business. These two access points for me provided an always-on backbone of a T1 line & SRJC was on a T1 network as well.
